"Everyone needs their Sea Monster in their personal ocean"
Yes, Monterey Bay is home to all
kinds of mammals, fish and even
Sea Monsters.
From the giant Dosidicus gigas a.k.a. Humboldt Squid, which has been called one of the most vicious carnivores in the world to the giant octopus and even more ominous, the mythical sea monster known as Bobo, the Old Man
of Monterey Bay.
Sighted by fishermen over the years,
"...The majority of the reports describe the 'Old Man' as...
boasting and evil appearing human-like head or face
[and] reddish colored hair..."
"The crew of 'Dante Allighieri'
reported on a Bobo sighting:
'The body was as big around as
a pick up truck.
It must have weighted maybe eight or nine tons'."
